Who We AreBring Out Your Dead is a World of Warcraft guild on the realm Maelstrom. We are a light-hearted, fun-loving, light role-playing guild, that engages in organized questing and dungeon runs, as well as an occasional goofy stunt. We put a large amount of effort in helping one another, with questing as well as with professions and skills. We do some raiding, but this is not our focus. Our members range from the casual, intermittent player to those who spend a great deal of time in-game, and are of every level and class. We would much rather have a low-level that is an intermittent, happy, helpful person than a twinked-out high level that does not contribute to the group.

How to Join our Ranks
To be a member, you must be at least level 10, have a good sense of humor, be interested in (or at least respecting of others) role-playing, and having a good in-game time. You must be respectful of other players, and realize that we, as a "family," have people of many ages and beliefs, and act accordingly. This includes controlling your language in guild chat (no swearing or attacking others), following Blizzard's terms of use, and basically treating others in the game as you may wish to be treated yourself.
If you are interested in joining our ranks, we ask that you first read our Guild Member Guide. After you have done so, please whisper one of our officers in-game, and we can set your membership as a probationary Initiate in motion. The magic word is Spleen.
Initiate Rank
When a member first joins our guild, they are given a rank of Initiate. This is a temporary rank for those seeking to become a full member. The probationary period lasts for approximately 2 weeks, after which time the Officers of the Guild will vote on permanent membership based on behaviour, attitude, and a willingness to be a part of the community. After this vote, the initiate will either be removed from our ranks, or will be promoted to full member status at a beginning rank of Shrub Bearer.
As an initiate, you are welcome to join in with guild events and share in guild chat and here on the forums. You will be limited, however, in that, until you pass your initiation period, you will not be able to "sponsor" or recommend other players for membership, nor will you be able to request your own alts be made members. You will also have limited access to the Guild Vault.
