Welcome!
You've chanced upon the web home of Bring Out Your Dead, a funky and fun little World of Warcraft Guild on the Maelstrom server. We're a light-hearted, fun-loving, light role-playing guild, that engages in organized questing and dungeon runs, as well as an occasional goofy stunt. We put a large amount of effort in helping one another, with questing as well as with professions and skills. We do some raiding, but this is not our focus. Our members range from the casual, intermittent player to those who spend a great deal of time in-game, and are of every level and class. If you're interested in joining our ranks, check out our Membership page.

We hope everyone's holidays were fun and even relaxing, and that the rewards were worth the hectic schedules and giddy anticipation! As many of us have been away from home, or on odd schedules, we've neglected our meetings and other events for the past couple of weeks. but no more! We'll be holding initiations at our meeting this Sunday, Jan. 6th, at 7pm in our regular place in SW. Join in for our usual madcap fun! On a related note, discussion is going on now in the forums about possible meeting time adjustments, to better suit our current roster. Please stop in there and let us know what's good for you so you don't miss out on future events. Happy New Year, and Happy Hunting! |

Alright, here it is. We have had problems lately in guild chat with members being unable or unwilling to control themselves in either language or subject. This not only makes others uncomfortable, but also violates our rules and constitution (which everyone should have read and know). People have had to be kicked, and some very good members have left the guild because the Chat makes them uncomfortable. These include things such as constant swearing, sexual topics, sexist, racist, homophobic or otherwise ignorant and hateful topics, and anything along these lines. Our officers have done a great job of trying to control these things while not being stifling. Such behaviour, especially when continued by those who are asked to stop, is unacceptable, however. Anyone who does so is placing themselves at risk of being demoted or kicked from the guild. Yes, you have a chance to appeal, but the comfort and fun of the guild as a whole must come first. We are all supposedly grown up enough to play this game, and to interact with others. And, as such, if you can't follow a few simple rules, or respect the needs of others, then you risk the consequences. It's about fun, please don't ruin it either for yourselves or others. |

Congrats and Great Job to our Kara crew, who last night whipped through 4 bosses extremely swiftly, one or two-shotting Attumen, Maiden, Moroes and the Crone Opera event. And when people had to leave, we had more bunnies ready to jump in and fill the gaps. You did us all proud! |
